This year our popular guided tour takes a new route exploring a further selection of pretty villages in Essex. We stop for coffee at Ingatestone Garden Centre and for lunch in Braintree with its busy market spilling through the streets. A relaxing afternoon drive takes us to our cream tea halt in the ultimate duck pond and village green village – idyllic Finchingfield which offers a fine parish church, a delightful windmill, craft shops and an excellent antiques centre.
