In 1944, Glen Miller flew from Twinwood Airfield in
Bedfordshire never to return and a museum is now housed
in the restored Control Tower where he last visited in
the UK. This is a day full of non-stop live music and
attractions over the whole site. Swing, jazz and jive
music and dance fans celebrate the life and work of the
great man. Add to this jitterbug, lindyhop and dance
workshops, you can dance the whole day. Other attractions
include food outlets, exhibitions, bands, stalls, funfair
and wartime displays.
