Enjoy an afternoon visit to one of England’s oldest family estates dating back to Domesday. The Manor House and Gate House overlook a stunning 15 acre lake. Established in 1497 the estate has been home to the Hart Dyke family ever since. The 2 acre walled garden is being turned into the World Garden of Plants and contains more than 10,000 different plants collected from every corner of the globe. Its creator Tom Hart Dyke was the star of a fairly recent BBC2 series.
