Following a ferry crossing to Calais we head for the charming historic hilltop town of St Omer for lunch. See the splendid Basilica, explore the narrow, attractive streets and relax in the gardens. During the afternoon we travel to La Coupole to visit the impressive exhibition tracing the history and development of rockets - all set in a former German missile base. Part of the exhibition gives an account of the German Occupation.
