Chalkwell are very pleased to be awarded the Kent County Council contract to operate the 662,664 and 666 school services from 8th April 2019. These services provide school time transport between the villages of Conyer, Lynsted, Newnham, Dodddington and Sheldwich, whilst provide a link between Sittingbourne and the secondary schools in Faversham.
Managing Director Roland Eglinton commented “These services provide important local links, and we look forward to operating them for the coming years”.
At the same time as these additions take place the 367 service currently operated by Chalkwell between Sheerness and Warden Point will pass to Arriva. “While we are disappointed to lose the 367 service I’m sure that Arriva will do a good job and look after those customers that depend on this service”.
