Chalkwell's Operations Manager Andy Bates is to wear a cuddly bear costume all day on 31st October for the KSS Air Ambulance.

He will take his collecting bucket to Chatham bus station and travel on Chalkwell bus routes during the day raising money for the charity.

Says Andy: "The Air Ambulance is a great charity and Chalkwell is doing its very best to support this very worthy cause"

Julie Clare, from the Air Ambulance's corporate team, says: "We are very grateful to Chalkwell Coaches for their enthusiasm to support the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance. Each time the helicopter is called out its costs in the region of £2,500, so funds that they have already raised could potentially have saved someone's life"
