Commercial Director Turns Easter Bunny

An Easter bunny brought some good natured fun for commuters of Chalkwell at the start of their early morning journey into London.

Chalkwell Commercial Director Roland Eglinton swapped his suit for a bunny costume and handed out chocolates to commuters at the Blue Bell Hill commuter car park in Bridgewood near Rochester.

Roland and Operations Manager Andy Bates spent from 0600-0800 yesterday handing out chocolates and chatting to commuters before their coaches set off for London.

And then from 11.00-13.00 today Roland was meeting and greeting customers of local bus services in and around Sittingbourne as well as giving them chocolates.

“It’s great getting out and about meeting people and listening to what they have to say as well as having some banter with them,” said Roland.

“Customers were surprised and delighted to receive the chocolates and said it had made their day,” he added.

At the same time Chalkwell took the opportunity of making a bucket collection from commuters and local bus passengers for Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
